With Trip Flex, you can change your itinerary once or even postpone your trip without paying change fees of $75 each way per passenger.
We know that life can be full of surprises. For one low fee, Trip Flex gives you the ultimate peace-of-mind should something unexpected force you to change your travel plans.
- Make a change once to your reservation (date, flight, or destination) with no additional fees.
- You will be responsible for any change in price of airfare, hotel room, rental car or similar travel products, but your airline reservation change fees will be waived.
- Modify your itinerary once, up to 1 hour prior to departure for airline ticket purchases, and up to 72 hours prior to departure for air/hotel package purchases.
- While a one-time change or cancellation is permitted, your itinerary is non-refundable. Exceptions to this cancellation and refund policy may include bookings related to special promotions and sales and on some holiday travel dates which are non-refundable.
Still not sure Trip Flex is right for you? You can cancel Trip Flex and receive a full refund up to 24 hours after the original purchase if no modifications have been made to your itinerary.

Coverage applies for all Vail Resorts season pass or pack products, valid for the 2017/2018 season, October 15, 2017 through April 15, 2018. Refunds will not be provided beyond April 15, 2018. All refunds are the cost of the pass minus a daily rate for every day used (10/15/2017 – 4/15/2018) up to the face value of the season pass. For example, if you make a claim in January after using your pass three times previously, your refund amount will take three days of prior pass use into account.
If You Accept:
Pre-Season Pass Cancellations: For incidents that occur prior to the start of the ski season, United Specialty Insurance Company will reimburse the full cost of your season pass if you’re unable to use it for the entire season, due to a covered reason. *
Season Interruption Reimbursements: For unforeseen incidents that occur after the ski season begins, we will reimburse the cost of the pass minus a daily usage fee for every day used up to the face value of the season pass if you are no longer able to use the season pass due to a covered reason. Subject to the terms and conditions of the policy, covered reasons include sickness, injury, job transfer, complications of pregnancy, normal pregnancy or childbirth, military deployment, employer termination or layoff, denied travel visa, death of a family member and primary residence becomes uninhabitable.*

Refund Ineligible: If you do not accept pass insurance, you will not be eligible for a refund of any kind and understand that passes are non-transferable nor for re-sale.
If you have already purchased your pass and wish to purchase pass insurance, please call our Customer Service Center at 970-754-0007. Pass Insurance will only be offered through October 15th, 2017 or 30 days after you purchase your pass (whichever date comes later).
